"This was a two night stopover to allow us to ride around the Cantel region and, in particular, the rim of the volcano (long since gone). The appearance of th hotel upon arrival gives little credit for how comfortable the rooms are and how pleasing the restaurant is. It is little surprise that the hotel is used by tradesmen and appears to be full all the time. Very pleased with our stay and would recommend."

"A friendly and helpful welcome to the Hotel and soon booked into our room and explained where to park our vehicle once we had unloaded. The hotel has a very traditional feel downstairs, charming. The corridors and the rooms themselves were decorated in a very dark scheme, which even with the lights on was a little difficult to always see well. "Not sure what to say, it is an Ibis, as you would expect it is clean and tidy and everything works. The staff were very helpful. The location is on the edge of town, but it only takes a few minutes to get to the edge of town and find places to eat and drink."

"We didn't expect too much. We arrived decently late and tried to call multiple times to check how late we could check in, the first 2x the phone was not answered. We were asked if we want to see the restaurant menu but were not informed when it closes so by the time we went to the restaurant the kitchen had closed and no warm dishes were available. "The staff were wonderful - friendly and helpful while we struggled through with our limited French and their English. The restaurant has fantastic food and wine, so you don't have to venture too far. The pool and surrounding area is great for lounging around. Overall a lovely stay in Vic-sur-Cere. The decor is a bit tired and dated, but it didn't detract from the quality of service. Highly recommend it."
