"We stayed 6 nights at the Moro Inn and had a lovely time. The front of house staff were friendly and welcoming from the minute we arrived and right throughout the stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the housekeeping staff were also friendly and did a brilliant job at keeping the place clean. "This property let us book a room at 7pm and although clearly on their site it states check in is available until midnight, at 9:20 we arrived to a dark abandoned house. We tried reaching the manager via what’s app and after an hour he finally answered and told us to “find another place to stay, he’s closed”. The property is non refundable so I’ve been fighting with Expedia for a refund which to this point they’ve refused to issue. Absolute disaster. I’ll be claiming a fraudulent transaction...

"We LOVED this place! Clean, simple, two beds (no pullout couch crap). Front doors open wide to the patio. Inside doors are glass. Outsides are open louvers. We opened up everything and slept with the wind blowing right through the place. It’s so safe. Parking is available and EASY. The hostess was fantastic. Grandma keeps everything spotless. "Staying here is an amazing experience. The place is seaside, and an easy hike to the National Park. There are bike rentals and boat tours nearby. The hospitality is extraordinary. The host lives upstairs and will answer any questions you have - he’s a Mjlet native and can call on anyone from the local restaurants to the park urgent care clinic. "

"Decent property, lady that manages it is super nice and friendly. However bathroom is freakishly small, and has a window out to the public hallway of the property, and no lock on the door. Didnt feel the safest showering there (as anyone with access to the hostel can look directly at you while naked or open the door). Very walkable and nice location, near numerous shops, restaurants and little markets. Would i stay here again? No. But if youre looking for a cheap place to stay, it does the job."

"The property was poorly managed, dated and old. No WIFI signals in the room, the shower doors was broken, no kettles in the room and housekeeping was nowhere to phone. The telephone systems was broken, we had to travel back-and-forth to reception to sort out all the problems."

"The owners are very nice and helpful. The room was clean and cute, as it is on the pictures from the booking. Very nice location in Vela Luka, lots of restaurants near by. It has a fridge on the common area that everyone can use, this was very nice touch. There is a parking close by. Side note, better to have a small car, the streets are very narrow."

Peaceful retreat and lovely staff
