"Nice hotel, comfy bed, pillows bit lumpy and did have to ask for water and tea and coffee to be replenished but no biscuits this time. But overall we enjoyed our stay especially visiting Marco Pierre restaurant. "

"All the staff we met were very helpful & seemed genuinely interested in us & wanting to make our stay as enjoyable as they possibly could. The cafe served excellent food and was reasonably priced but we felt that the restaurant menu wasn't particularly good. The view from our room was superb & the champagne breakfast delivered to our room was a real delight. We enjoyed our stay immensely & would certainly go again but will give the restaurant a miss next time. "

"Room was very clean, quiet and updated. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival, offering recommendations and helping to make this a perfect base for my first visit to Plymouth. Very walkable from the train station and then easy access to The Box museum, shopping and dining options in The Barbican and surrounding neighbourhoods."

"Not quite sure it meets 5 star standard. Room space is lovely, plush and beds super comfy. Bathroom quite basic but shampoo etc provided. Spa ok but could with refurb now as facilities dated. One if the steam rooms out of order. Large glass door smashed and awaiting repair. Loungers by pool were soggy and stank. Lifts up to the spa all out of order Breakfast was the highlight. Ok hotel but nothing special. "

"Friendly staff, historic building near the Hoe and walking distance to everything. I like the hotel and often choose to stay there when I'm visiting Plymouth both when I'm on business and when socialising. "
