"This hotel needs to be updated. The carpets on the stairs and in the rooms were threadbare. Not all the corridor light switches worked, our loo did not flush initially but my husband fixed it, as he did the showerhead which did not stay in the correct positon ( using the showercap box). There were not enough electric sockets which you need nowadays with phones etc needing charging. The free wifi was fine though. The garden was ok but a few flowers would have made it somewhere you wanted to...

It is not the most completely appointed room you could imagine- for example there are no nightstands which seems an unnecessary cost-saving measure. "I stayed 4 nights for a work trip. The location is nice and central, rooms were ok but soundproofing is not so good, my neighbors alarm woke me up through the wall. The breakfast was ok but I had better and bigger selection for a bit less money at other hotels. The restaurant is good, not great. "
