"We didn't expect too much. We arrived decently late and tried to call multiple times to check how late we could check in, the first 2x the phone was not answered. We were asked if we want to see the restaurant menu but were not informed when it closes so by the time we went to the restaurant the kitchen had closed and no warm dishes were available. "Remote location. Pool closed until later than advertised so only enjoyed a v short swim before leaving. No food shop on site. Fully equipped kitchen. Would have been good to have milk and tea bags etc provided. Great potential. Lovely setting "

"Parking was full so had to leave on the road with lots of wedding bits inside. Hotel ok but tired. Room basic. No water or tea facility. Restaurant overpriced and under whelming. I had a local dish. Local Sausage and mash. Basic sausage and mash tasted like smash. Dried potatoes. Felt a bit money grabbing. "

"This is lovely hotel right next to the lake. The room was nicely set out, clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed. It’s a shame we were only staying the one night. 🙂"
