Arenas Beach Hotel

3.5 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (188)
"The property and location are fantastic. Very clean and inviting when you arrive, and there is space to move around, with large shared patios out front. The staff were all incredible and this is what really made the stay enjoyable. Helpful, kind, friendly, honest. Though, it felt quite expensive for what you get. You pay for the proximity to the beach. The restaurant and drinks were very expensive. It would be nice to have a small fridge in the room as well. Overall, i would recommend Arenas,...

Yemaya Reefs, a Small Luxury Hotel

3.5 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (84)
"Beautiful property, however i recommend bringing food & snacks & beverages. There is no where close to purchase. The dinning staf was extremely slow, we had to beg for water they would take our glass we would sit forever waiting & waiter would not return. The menu was small and they were out of most of the main dishes. We where served the wrong dinners that took over hour to get, while its beautiful there no good or water and only alchol available at a hefty cost. Makes for a unpleasant time."

Paraiso Beach Hotel

3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (88)
"Hôtel à deux pas d'une magnifique plage. Chambre très confortable avec eau chaude. Patio partagé avec une autre chambre et n'est pas très grand. Le jardin aurait besoin d'entretien. Un peu cher pour le Nica, mais je pense que les hôtels sont un peu plus chers partout sur l'ile. "

Hospedaje Rosa Del Mar

3.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (5)
"Great little BnB with only 4 rooms on the property. Talia and Delmar are awesome hosts right down to the authentic Nicaraguan breakfast. The location can’t be beat. Just steps from Long Bay beach and the views are incredible! I was in the Salty Air room with a great ocean view from the balcony. I would go back!"

Learn more about Laguna de Perlas

Venture to sights like Moravian Church and Reserva Natural Kahka Creek as you discover Laguna de Perlas.

On the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua, Pearl Lagoon is yet to be discovered by the majority of tourists. With the strong Creole culture, fantastic seafood, Saturday afternoon baseball games and laid back vibes this is a great place to while away some days.

However, Pearl Lagoon's real draw are the Pearl Keys. A handful of deserted islands a few hours away by boat, this is the place to live out all your Shipwrecked/Robinson Crusoe fantasies. We spent the day snorkelling, eating coconuts and relaxing on this tiny island - our group of 6 were the only visitors to the keys that day (and about 75% of the tourists staying in Pearl Lagoon). Both amazing destinations and worth the effort to get to!
