"Perfect location in a quiet village a short distance from Chaumont. Very comfortable accommodation in a quaint traditionally French hotel and a very good host. The continental breakfast was excellent with homemade jams and good bread and croissants. Over all, a great place to stay."

Also, the condition of room was pretty dismal. It just felt worn and the bed was so low, it was practically on the floor. "I would love to give it 5 stars but due to the fact that the heat was not working was really bad specially when you are with an infant with you I literally had put his jacket on in the middle of the night because the room was freezing mind you we had a small heater on but in vain. I wish we had been informed of this situation before we arrived in order to weight our options or not. But besides that the receptionist was very nice and helpful to us during our stay."

"The staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Though I had booked a double room I was given two singles but, only because the key given was incorrect ( easy to confuse a 6 & 9!) but it was no issue for me, I should have questioned it but with two dogs in hand easier to just settle in the first room!
