"The immediate surroundings are not prepossessing and the hotel is quite remote although surrounded by excellent walking country. The welcome was very good - more chambres d'hote than hotel - and the restaurant exceeded expectations with delicious local produce."

"Traditional grand, with a very plesant atmosphere and excellent resturant. Comfortable beds and quiet if your room faces away from the street. Breakfast is worth the surcharge. Would visit again!"
