My room had a hoid sized shower room (shiny floor as is so often the case - good job i had flip flops) but the room itself was far from spacious. Nevertheless the bed was very comfortable and the sounproofing was excellent. And what views! I was on a corner and had virws of mountains out if both - expecially...

"A beautiful location at a golf club. Out our balcony we could see golfers below and the backside of Mont Blanc plus other mountains above. The staff was friendly and helpful, complete with drawing me a map so that I could find the *free* tram (with hotel voucher) back to Chamonix. A couple of good restaurants nearby. Hot tub and sauna at the hotel. Nice breakfast. The only downside is the walls in the rooms- not at all soundproof. We could hear everything our neighbors were doing, and could...

"On the day we booked the hotel, the reception had been closed since the afternoon. We went to the hotel to check in in the evening, but we couldn’t enter. We became panicky. Then I found the hotel had emailed me about it and left the code for the entrance etc. you don’t usually imagine that the reception is closed, so I didn’t check the email from the hotel before arrived there…The hotel explained that this sort of thing doesn’t happen usually. The rest everything else’s was good!"
