"This hotel exceeded our expectations - we stayed there for 6 nights. Very clean, with modern fixtures and a large shower with good water pressure. The room itself was quite small with not much closet space to unpack our things (e.g., no dresser drawers), but that was the sole disappointment. The daily breakfast down in the taverna was unbelievable (at least for north americans like us used to the crappy "continental breakfast" in American hotels) - we ate so well every morning we usually didn't need lunch. The hotel is easy walking distance from most major tourist sites, except the farthest-flung ones like Sagrada Familia and The National Palace, but we even walked to those. If you are not that ambitious there is a metro station 5 min from the hotel. As others have mentioned, the staff were extremely courteous and accommodating - very professional. "

"Casa Teva was a very convenient hotel within the Raval neighborhood. It was within walking distance of public transportation, Las Ramblas, and the Gothic Quarter. Definitely a great value, and I would absolutely stay there again."
