"As a museum professional I think it is amazing that such an old building can be put to modern use but with respect for the old building. However our room was cramped in relation to the prize we paid for it, and it was very hot. The least the hotel could do in a building where installing AC is impossible, is to provide fans. Also there naturally were no elevators, but the hotel could have provided porters, which would also have been historically correct. Our 5 course dinner was good, but one...

"A classic old hotel, great front desk service, we had a pleasant stay easy to find, easy tio park, nice room, good dinner and nice breakfast."

"The owners were very nice to our family. We had a great time riding the zip line and also spent time in the treehouse. It was a short drive away from a lake in which we swam in. So overall we are satisfied with our stay and would love to come back again!"

"Flott og ærverdig bolig, med mye spennende gamle ting å se på. En flott plass, som sto til forventningen på alle måter. Kjekt med pizza ovn i kjelleren, flott uteområdet og god plass😄"
