"The experience at Novotel was great. The food service was excellent. However, The people who clean the rooms, stole my New iPhone. I would suggest that next time, the visitors should you them safe in their room to lock their belonging."

"Ouidah is my favorite place in the whole world and this hotel offers a peaceful getaway that I would choose over and over again. I recommend the sea view rooms, though the lakeview are nice as well. I just personally like being beachfront. The staff go above and beyond here. Food and drinks are delicious and decently priced for a resort. "This hotel is fairly basic but offers enough to satisfy everyone. The rooms are a little small but comfortable enough with Air Conditioning. The staff on the desk were also very friendly. The WiFi worked perfectly. I would consider staying here again if visiting Cotonou. "

"We only stayed here one night, but the staff were so friendly and accomodating. The rooms are HUGE. Breakfast was very filling, we were offered eggs, an assortment of bread, salad, fruit, juice, tea and coffee. The kids enjoyed the pool and the games out on the terrace. The manager, Toby, was very friendly and our kids loved his dog, Moon."

An ok place to spend the night.

"This was a work trip and a mandatory accommodation. I (over)paid for the most comfortable rooms with breakfast included; however every morning when I went to breakfast it seemed like I was opening up the kitchen. My room had a terrible view: the interstate. Smaller cheaper and less comfortable rooms had a direct view of the ocean. The gap in comfort level was pretty big between these types of rooms. There were some larger rooms by the sea but their bathroom windows gave directly onto the courtyard, not ideal for a tall girl traveling alone."
