"My 18-year old niece and I loved our stay in the Royal Apartment when visiting the charming town of Banská Štiavnica. The apartment is enormous, beautiful and comfortable. The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It was obvious that they wanted to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, including a wonderful breakfast buffet. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Slovakia."

The hotel advertises a pool and sauna, but it is open for only two hours a day and we had to request they let us in and turn it on. "Our stay at the hotel was a quick stopover for one night. Hotel was a ski resort and had lovely views, and lots for kids to do. The Hotel itself is a little dated but very clean, staff very helpful. Rooms- again dated but clean, bathroom- a little small. Beds - very firm ( not my thing unfortunately ) Food - was great. "
