"Well I knew that I needed to keep my expectations lower due to the fact that this hotel is in a small village and the buildings are very old. We had the most basic room and it was VERY small. The bathroom could not be any smaller unless you have a cabin on a cruise ship. It was warm the week we were there and there is no air conditioning and the room was stuffy. "The hotel is a very old fashioned place, frozen in time. Rooms were clean but small and the bathrooms were very tight. However, the breakfast was very good and the city of Monschau is a must see, very picturesque little city, just lovely. Just a warning, everything closes early. "

"This is a very nice hotel & restaurant with a great hotel general manager who was always happy, hard working & eager to help his guests in both the hotel and the restaurant. The only issues were 1) Hard uncomfortable beds; 2) hearing people go up & down the metal circular stairs outside our room all night long; and 3) a very grumpy male waiter in the restaurant during dinner.
