"This is a country inn, so the front desk is basically unstaffed, until someone notices that you’re there. This, both when checking in and checking out, we had to walk around and find someone to assist us. We were there on one of the hottest summer days on record. The building has no air conditioning (not even a fan), and our West-facing room was very hot. We opened the windows and the room cooled off a bit as nightfall, but there were no screens on the windows so the room was soon full of...
