"The condition of the rooms is poor. Furniture is worn out and at least my bathroom (toilet) barely flushed. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was OK. In general, I was disappointed with the hotel and would not stay there again."

"Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Rooms are comfortable with enough space. We ate in the restaurant and found the food good. Their Covid precaution were sensible and followed by the guests. Only downside is our room was very hot (no a/c) so sleeping was hard. "

Since we had the family room on the top floor the walls in the bathroom were severely restricting the possibility to stand in the shower. The glass wall that should help to protect the floor from flooding when showering unfortunately had a seal that did not quite reach the lower right corner of the bathtub causing large amounts of water to spill to the floor. "Set in the quiet countryside this was a very nice and comfortable hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of choices catering to both European and North American tastes. I dined there several times and had really good meals. It was a perfect starting point for my trips to various Bavarian destinations (Munich, Memmingen, Neuschwanstein, Rothenberg ob der Tauber, and Regensburg.
