Staff were welcoming and friendly, room was clean, cosy and comfortable, well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and also given a complimentary drinks voucher to use at their in house bar lovely little added touch, great value for money and I would definitely return!!"

"Overall a great stay, breakfast was poor on the cooked breakfast side. Standard breakfast for 3 stars. Lunch was overpriced but again its edinburgh! Reception gent was very friendly on arrival but lady on leaving didnt say a word or ask how our stay was which was poor service. Location is ideal for a more scenic quiet stay. 7 mins on train into the centre and 5 mins via car to beautful portabello beach. "The Moxy is no frills but that’s reflected in the price. The most important thing is that it is clean which is why I don’t mind booking here. This was my third stay and I’ll be returning for my fourth stay next week. I do wish there was a mini fridge in the room as I tend to have longer stints and would like to keep some food/drinks on hand. Even renting one for a small additional fee would still make this a solid value stay. The area is about a 20 min walk from Princes Street but there’s enough...

"Very good stay with no complaints. The breakfast was amazing, free carpark and closed to all amenities. Around just over half an hour walk to the castle of Edinburgh and there's also a bus stop right outside to get us to the centre. The check out should be at 12pm and not 11am... Apart from that, everything else was good and I will stay there again. "

"We loved our stay here. The staff were all very polite and happy, nothing was too much for them. The room was perfect and cleaned daily. Great breakfast with lots of choice. The tram / bus / train services were all close by, regular, on time, reasonably priced and excellent. If we come back to Leith we would definitely stay here again. "
