"A nice hotel in a great location about 30 minutes walk from the city centre. A good clean, quiet room. One criticism, the buffet breakfast was poorly stocked and the cooked breakfast was cold."

"Breakfast was just ok. The food area was a tad messy with spilt food. Tables were not cleared. There was only 1 very large table that was clear but as there was only 2 of us it was far too big. The man on reception cleared the tables in the end and ask was OK. Room was clean and comfortable but bathroom light flashed on and off from the time we got there to time we left. Would still recommended this hotel."

"This was a family stop-over and we loved the hotel. Kids could eat free with adult meals which is brill and both the evening food and morning breakfast was fantastic. Top marks to the chef. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Lots of space indoor and out, including a great patio area when it’s sunny. Felt very relaxed staying here. Also, If You like car boot sales there is also a big one on the door step too! No idea what it’s like on race day (literally next to the track) but I can’t...

"We have stayed here a few times now as it is convenient for family visits. The breakfast is really good. The rooms are comfortable and warm (last days of December!). Over the years, the management has invested in the site and it now has a gym, which we could have used if we had known about it. Definitely planning on return visits!"
