"Lovely place for our 5 night stay. However as we were staying 5 nights or less the rooms were not serviced, so hadvto go to reception everytime we needed our towels replenished. There was no allocated parking so we only got to park outside our room once. One night we had to park on the other side of the complex as 3 motorbikes had taken up a whole park each. It was a pity there were no seats outside as we had some lovely days and it would've been nice to sit outside. Overall we had a good stay...

"The room description on Expedia did not make it clear that the bathroom was down the hall and shared. Other than that, everything about this little hotel was great!"

"Lots of character in main building. Lovely spot with a couple of nice walks nearby. We had a room in a seperate building which was renovated and very comfortable. Busy restaurant with good meals. Staff may have been stressed as it was busy, not very friendly or attentive."

"The photo is not of the units we stayed in. We were in the new units behind the hotel which incidentally serves great food. The units are well set up and extremely comfortable and clean. The beds are king size and comfortable. We slept well and woke refreshed. The fa cilities are modern with a walk in shower. You could not ask for more."

"I have stayed at The Marquis on 2 occasions and both times had a great visit. From check in to check out it’s been great. The rooms are clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The beds are great so a good night sleep is on the cards. Location is quiet and the surrounds are beautiful. The view is top notch. The meals at the pub are excellent and good value. I will be back and can definitely recommend. "

"Walked in for check in, and not only was the process effortless, the lady at the counter was excellent. She made recommendations after I told her my plans, and it made the trip so much better. Parking was wonderful, I parked right infront of my room, the room was perfect..only issue was the hot water seemed to have a personality which resulted in me having a cold shower. Dinner was delicious, waiters were excellent. Next morning I discovered a Banjo's next door, and a supermarket."
