"The outside of the hotel looks very run down, the rooms are clean, comfortable beds, however, the corridors need updating and redecorating, lovely dining room and the staff are excellent 5 stars for dining room and staff, excellent staff at the reception area too. All in all we had a lovely weekend don’t let the outside put you off "

"We had a great stay. Staff was so helpful and friendly fully accommodated us with our two dogs. The rooms were spacoius and clean. "

"Kevin and the team are great, happy to help however they can. The food is very good as are the drinks. The en suite bathroom had a great shower, fluffy clean towels and was nicely laid out. The bed was clean and comfortable. We stayed for two nights and both agreed the only thing to change were some of the carpets. We didn't sleep, eat or shower on the carpets though, so it wasn't a game changer. We would definitely stay again, thank you Kevin and the whole team."

"My first time here, friendly staff however the place could do with a complete update, the restaurant area in particular was quite dates, sticky tables, worn out chairs and dull decor, the gym and pool areas were pleasant as was my room."

"Brilliant stay, the staff and the owner were great very homey and warm atmosphere. Very kindly made me an early breakfast each day as I had to be up for a training course. Rooms were clean tidy and brilliantly sound proofed as I heard nothing from the bar downstairs. Great little place would highly recommend."
