"Front desk was helpful upon check in. When we booked there was no mention of parking fees. Having stayed at this hotel before we didn’t have parking fees. This visit however did. The room was clean enough but worn. The carpet frayed , chairs worn , bed was hard , the hall ways very warm and had an odd smell. Over all the stay was fine and staff helpful. The hotel is in a nice location and has nice views but definitely needs some updating. "

"We got off a cruise ship in Galveston at 9:30 AM and didn't think the hotel would let us check in at 11:00, but they did! So grateful we didn't have to sit in the lobby for 5 hours! Nice sized room with a frig and a microwave! Unfortunately, we didn't have a car to get around and the restaurants in the area (that were walkable) were few and far between. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good:eggs, sausage patty, bagels, toast, muffins, cereal and waffle irons. AND, a free shuttle to the...

"I felt the property was as expected. Nothing really over the the top and nothing terrible. I would say the first night we stayed we had two rooms booked for 11 people and we had to use the couch /bed as the third bed but there were no blankets for it nor enough pillows and the front desk staff said they didn't have any to give us. Said they were booked full and couldn't accommodate us. We were just asking for what should have already been in the room that was designated for 6 people. "
