"Advertised as 4 star, but inside room evac.plan says 3 star . In reality a 3 star bar and restaurant and 2 star rooms. Rooms tired, i.e. walls dirty, wallpaper peeling, furnishings old, badly scratched, cobwebs, broken window fastening, mould in bathroom, shower eithef too hot or cold, toiletries (only soap dispenser) cheap. Bar closed before 2200hrs (staff said as only 4 customers it was pointless staying open) and would only offer beer, wine or tea after 2145hrs. When we made comment to...

"The room was spacious and breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was ample parking space. The only slight negative was people smoking sitting in the terrace area just outside the hotel entrance. "

"Hotel room was sparse and utilitarian. It is not a room for comfort. The bed and pillow was very comfortable. Shower room large and good power. Mood lighting controlled by a remote control. Tea coffee facilities in room. No bathrobe provided although this is a spa facility. Towels in room can be used for spa but they are not bath sized.
