"We had an amazing stay at the Residence Porta Antica! We called the hotel when we were unsure with parking and Claudia came in her cart to show us where to park and then drive us to the hotel! She was such a pleasure and so friendly! She gave us a warm welcome and recommended several restaurants, as well as ice cream places! "The hotel is older, but ok. Rooms are extremely small, can’t imagine to stay longer than 1-2 days. Rooms with a window on the street are loud. There is a terrace but unfortunately not used by the hotel (e.g. sun beds) so you can go only on the beach, which is public and really really small with really no space. Breakfast was really good. Parking I have reserved in advance, otherwise no chance! "

Probably a better place to visit on the high season though - Vrsar gets a bit empty when it's cold out."

"This is a very decent hotel that has a great, quiet location, 15 minutes by foot from the center of Novigrad and away from the tourist noise and hubbub. The staff are very professional and helpful, the property is very clean, brunch style breakfast is very abundant.
