"Inexpensive hotel right in the heart of Ioannina. The PLUS is they have their own private parking lot— worth the $ right there. Good signage directing you as well. Lady at front desk was so friendly and helpful. Elevator/ lift is very small, so could be a problem if there were lots of people waiting. Nice lighting in room. Windows had a metal pull-down shade as well as curtains— nice blackout for those that like that."

"The room was great, the breakfast was great and the staff were all great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that isn't driving. I think the amenity of "free parking" is not accurate. That typically means parking on the premises, but in this case it means you get a parking pass that allows you to park anywhere on the street inside the castle that you can find parking. Not always a guarantee, and driving through the castle is not for the faint-of-heart. I got stuck in a narrow turn,...
