We arrived at 14.30 and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive on reception to be told the room was not ready and to go away for an hour. When we returned we were showed our room on the ground floor which we booked as a family room with a sea view and it looked at the carpark. "The room facing the street is noisy. There were a very strong smell of cigarettes inside the bedroom when we arrived! The beach is just some steps down the hotel, but there is very little space on the sand to suntan and relax, and it was not too clean. The water is nice and clear."

"This is a very nice hotel overall (close to town, beautiful grounds, wonderful staff) but it is located on a busy street with ongoing two-wheeler traffic, and the neighbor's dog who barks in the middle of the night. It took us ear plugs and sleeping pills in order to fall asleep. I want to reiterate how nice Maria and her staff was, but the fact remains that if you can't sleep while on vacation, it's a problem!"

" Large five story seafront hotel with probably seven acres of surrounding property. Beach was largely pebble with tiki shade/lounges and towel areas perhaps extending to 300 feet along the coast. Several areas designed for children seemed to be well maintained. The entire hotel has apparently been recently upgraded with new paint/tiling/balcony fixtures/etc. Room was average size with comfortable king bed and simple furniture from the 21st century.
