"Visited on the offseason and loved it. Hotel was well kept with all modern conveniences. Staff were friendly. We had the island almost to ourselves which allowed us to see more during nature hikes and had dinner in town where the locals embraced us so as to make us feel most welcome."

"We had an awesome stay at Strandflickornas. For travelers visiting soon, the hotel is under renovation so the dining and convenience is a little tricky. Breakfast was down the road a 5 min walk and dinner was a 3 min walk down the hill in different properties. Dining menu is quite limited to 3 things. If you ask 2 days in advance there is an additional shellfish option however if you don’t ask, it basically a chicken sandwich or fish soup. The fish soup is amazing. The walk to the rooms by the...

"Had to stand in the rain to get thru the front door so a small portico would help also where to park is not clear so we used the Burger King spaces as none were marked for hotel guests. Otherwise the room was fine and very quiet and breakfast was also quite good at Expresso house next door. Overall I like the concept but you need to be able to contact someone at all times so a contact number in room would help."

"A fantastic place to stay. I wish our plans would have allowed for more time to stay longer. The owner spent time with us talking about the area and pointing out area attractions. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. I can't say enough good things about it. "

"The house is just a regular villa without any extra soundproofing so when other guests stumbled in at one o'clock superdrunk everyone hears it. The guests then locked themselves in both bathrooms and started violently puking for everyone to hear. One other guest were sleeping off the whiskey in the living room couch. In the morning we opened a window and it turns out the street outside has surprisingly heavy traffic. We mailed the owner the morning after about the puking drunks and he asked "but...

"Vi bodde i gula villan, två minuters promenad från huvudbyggnaden. Hade ett vackert kopparbadkar i rummet. Rummet var fint, sängen skön och huvudbyggnaden också väldigt mysig. Charmiga blommiga tapeter och väldigt god frukost!"

"Very disappointing, first had to wait in the cold to be able to come in , then no staff available to ask for extra cover because I was cold in the room …. A small Breakfast that you get in a small paper bag from a fridge … and that I could not take with me because one it was not intended for me from the beginning and two not suitable for my diet as I am vegetarian… terrible experience for a hotel ! "Great spot, right by the water and in the middle of nature. The hotel has a spa/gym we didn’t use and a sauna (which was amazing). Great staff. If there is one thing that could be improved it would be the breakfast as it was very simple. These are special circumstances but I expected a way better breakfast for the price we paid for the night. "
