"The staff were friendly and service was prompt. The setbacks were the rate charged which did not correspond to the facilities. I booked a family room and it was not what I expected. Cramped, toilet was dirty, no toiletries provided except for a miserable small bottle of shampoo and body wash. No laundry bags, carpet was slightly damp and smelled musty. The layout of the room is very disappointing. The air cond is placed in the wrong location. And the car park is to be shared with the customers...

But the breakfast is totally valuable, paid for three and get three ticket for brekfast. Food was nice and delicious."

It's got a lot going on but it still feels quiet. The fish boats something operate during the night, so it can get a little noisy and smelly but that's living & working in a fishing village. "The hotel is clean and situated next to the Mall and Tesco, which is convenient. The room is big and the bed very comfortable. The down side is that the KTV Lounge downstairs play very loud music which can be heard all the way up the upper floors where I was. This is not the fault of the hotel itself, but the consequence of its location being at the periphery of Taiping town and residential areas."
