"Wowza! This was one of the best 5 day asian island resort experiences we've had on our travels. The resort has gone through a full refurbishment in the last couple of years, so we were delighted to see that most of the negative feedback has been listened too and actioned. Do not hesitate to book. All the staff - reception, restaurant, cleaners, concierge, footmen and management - are so friendly, helpful and enjoy a sense of fun, whilst all being totally professional. "Stayed in renovated room. Nothing exciting about the rooms. Drab bathrooms. Food not worth talking unfortunately (even the local food is boring) about but plentiful. "It was quite dissapointing that we were late for check-in, but there was not anyone from hotel staff that would have contacted us to keep in the touch. In fact, when we were about an hour journey to arrive at the hotel, the receptionist called to let us know that she'll be out of shift soon and will just leave the room key by the reception counter. I find this very rude as a customer to be treated this way. The hotel management itself should have a replacement staff for the shift changing time...

"Stayed in hotel after arriving too late to travel onwards to the islands. Check in was fine, but room itself was in a poor condition, with facilities very run down. The sheets and towels were dirty. Breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning, which was a nice touch, but unfortunately was not particularly appetising.
