"We used Granville as our hub to explore the Normandy area in France. We rented a car and stayed at Hotel des Bains for five nights. The room was clean and comfortable. We had our adult son along so we book the "Superior Family Room side sea view" which was excellent. Our son had his own area with a privacy curtain. Our balcony looked over the sea. We had a great stay."

"This hotel does what is says on the tin. No bar or restaurant but a nice area to take your own food or drink and socialise. An extremely friendly, helpful and efficient reception lady who appeared to bend over backwards to ensure everyone was happy & everything was absolutely spotlessly clean "

"We had dinner and breakfast on property. Dinner was excellent. The room and bathroom were a good size for us. We were traveling from Paris to Mont St Michel and this was a great location. Staff were great."

"Historic building made into a charming hotel. I stayed in one of the new, renovated rooms but most of the hotel is an old and cozy building. Staff are bilingual, rooms are clean, and it’s in a good location in town. I hope to stay there again one day!"

"Excellent location just 2 minutes from the beautiful beach. Our room was spacious and very clean the a balcony overlooking the street and with a sea view. The morning sunrises were outstanding. The owners and staff are very friendly whilst remaining professional at all times. "

"Very clean comfortable apartment in a wide open space opening out onto the pool. Great seating area on the balcony (Downstairs apartments had a good space outside their units). Apartment was well fitted out. A little far from the village but easy driving and parking. A good location to explore Mont St Michel."

"This hotel is situated above the main area of the seaside so it's a walk either up or down quite a steep hill to get to restaurants and shops- good for keeping fit! The staff were excellent and helpful but we had to change our room when the shower broke which meant we were moved to a smaller room. That spoilt our stay a bit as we had a lot of luggage and stuff."
