"The hotel is definietly not 4*, it's dark, dated and old. The room was clean, but you can see that they only spend money on maintenance if they need to. Cracked sink in the bathroom, with the cheapest handsoap/no shower gel or shampoo provided. No kettle or other tea/coffee making facilities, the minibar is super expensive. The breakfast was very basic, with limited options available after 8 (eventhough it's finishing at 10:30)."

"This is our absolute favorite place in Gyor. We keep coming back. The staff goes above and beyond to help you in every way. It is beautiful, spotlessly clean and in a great location. "Smart looking hotel in former convent, in Spain/Portugal this would be a Parador/Pousada but it might need a bit of spruce to get up to 5 stars. Atmospheric place and a comfortable stay. Staff were helpful, location is bang in the centre next to the river, about 10 mins from the rail station."

"Residential area, quiet. Staff were great, room well equipped. Only a few minutes from public transport and the city centre. Generally had a slightly worn look - furniture, etc but ok. Fridge in room was very noisy 24/7 and the air-con didn't work effectively - in need of a service perhaps? Breakfast was very basic, eggs cold (cooked for 7am?), if there was any left. I was ok with the stay especially with the very helpful and friendly staff."

"We went to the hotel at 4:30 PM on Wednesday. Reception was closed even though the timing was 7 am to 10 pm. They had 2 phone numbers on a paper in order to contact reception. We called both numbers multiple times to no avail. At 8 PM we finally decided to just leave this hotel. We contacted expedia and they booked us a hotel in Budapest which was our next destination. I do not recommend this hotel at all because no one was there! "
