"The con to staying at this property was the amount of dogs in the hotel. It was actually a little scary walking down the hallways and having what seemed like large dogs barking loudly and jumping at the doors as you walked by. And the barking ALL NIGHT LONG was exhausting! I'm pretty sure these dogs were left in the rooms all day alone while the owners were put biking the trails. "

"Amazing hotel. Clean spacious rooms - larger than expected, actually. Small kitchenette in the room. An actual bedroom door. I am an early riser & I could leave the bedroom and not disturb my husband. Property was very well maintained, especially as it was their end of season. "

"The lodge is a wonderful place to get away to birch trees and smell off clean pine air. Our lake view was amazing. The leaves were just beginning to show the onset of fall with few hues of red and orange. We took many walks around the property enjoying the woods and lake. The resort was quiet but people hanging out at the beach or fisherman taking their boats early in the morning. The pool and spa were used a few times. It should open early. The kitchen and dining were stocked to meet our needs....

"Fantastic resort for winter beauty. It was very quiet and felt remote. There were no issues, but would have liked to talk to the office more about the resort, but due to the time of year and occupancy, the office hours were limited."
