"I'm going to mention the positives and negatives to be fair. Positives: first, the location of the hotel is amazing it's near the bus stop and a lot of restaurants and café and bars. 2nd, the bed is comfortable. 3rd the room is decorated very well and the colors and lighting are good. Negatives: 1st, the reception was not welcoming he seemed angry or upset for some reason which is disappointing. 2nd, the card to open the door did not work so we had to carry a key the whole time. 3rd, cleaning...

Some parts were a bit outdated but I guess still functional (we struggled a bit closing down the window) and some bits were missing just thick courtians but nothing to frost the windows without having it completely dark. The intra-muros area of St. Malo is small, so everything is close - the ramparts and beach are a 5-minute walk and there is a wide selection of boulangeries and restaurants close by. "The hotel is right along the wall and it is a 50 m walk to ocean. The room we were in was updated and very nice. A small refrigerator would be an excellent addition. I did have an issue with parking. On Expedia it gave a price with parking and a price without. I went with the more expensive with parking. When we arrived they had no knowledge of this and neither did Expedia. It was very frustrating as we paid for parking twice. Expedia is supposed to be investigating but we have not heard back as...

"Great location in the old town just away from all the tourists but close to walk to everything including the ferry terminal. Comfortable room in annexe near main hotel. A little small with lots of luggage. Quiet."
