"This is the type of place I expected in a small town in Belgium; a little outdated but a friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays to give the help the day off but they still had a limited menu for the guests. They offered steak, local trout, and quiche. These were all very good. "Lovely location for a holiday but not if you have business in the local area as it is isolated from bus routes and taxis are very expensive.The Chateau is nearby and is under renovation and is for sale. It would make a great renovation project. I wonder if they could afford a cobweb brush though? The staff gave me the wrong ID code to get through the security gate just after midnight.
