The walls were very thin and you could hear everything in the hallway, but somehow the (very small) rooms seemed quiet when inside - so a false sense of privacy. "On the hillside across the fjord from the airport and town, it was in the middle of having an extension when we were there (boy, Icelandic builders are hardy) so was a little out of sorts. That said, it is kept in immaculate order, and I’m sure the extension will be great. Currently it’s just 8 rooms, and won’t be so much bigger next year, but will have an internal lift so you don’t have to go outside to get to the lower rooms. There isn’t a restaurant, but the breakfast buffet is a good start...

"Hotel is located of the main town area. Not much around, but good place to stay overnight after the long trip. Easy to find, check-in - easy - just enter the supplied by email code into electronic lock :). Room is minimalistic and a bit crampy, but beds were comfortable. There are only several rooms with private entrance and bathrooms (we had one of them). Otherwise not much to say. Good value for the money."
