"Good hotel in a lovely location up a hill through olive groves. Great terrace outside the bar with a view of the hills. Good restaurant with a decent choice of meals and wines. The only downside is that while the staff were able to supply a password for the bar wi-fi, they didn't seem to know the password for the wi-fi networks covering the accommodation buildings (and my Spanish wasn't good enough to enquire further)."

This hotel is best for couples—it is set up to be cool and chic, but doesn’t quite sucéed—in part because the staff is so cold. "A very spacious apartment built in to the hillside with nice grounds and views over the Sierra Nevada. Our host, Manuel was very helpful and passionate about the local area and treated us to a guided tour,as well as bringing us fresh churros for breakfast. Our overall experience was superb. "

"This hotel was impossible to find even with a new sat nav which I was using to drive through Spain. I had to stop and ask people if they knew of it or the road it was on. No luck i ended up having to book another hotel for me and the dog at 6pm the same night. Booking Hotel Posada del Cordobes was a very stressful and expensive move. Never again! "
