"Advertised as 4 star, but inside room evac.plan says 3 star . In reality a 3 star bar and restaurant and 2 star rooms. Rooms tired, i.e. walls dirty, wallpaper peeling, furnishings old, badly scratched, cobwebs, broken window fastening, mould in bathroom, shower eithef too hot or cold, toiletries (only soap dispenser) cheap. Bar closed before 2200hrs (staff said as only 4 customers it was pointless staying open) and would only offer beer, wine or tea after 2145hrs. When we made comment to...

"Hotel room was sparse and utilitarian. It is not a room for comfort. The bed and pillow was very comfortable. Shower room large and good power. Mood lighting controlled by a remote control. Tea coffee facilities in room. No bathrobe provided although this is a spa facility. Towels in room can be used for spa but they are not bath sized. "Taurus is in a great location. It has friendly and really helpful staff. And.....it has a Fire Alarm! The alarm in my room went off at 3.00am and I struggled to get back to sleep after because there was absolutely noone around to say whetyher or not it was a false alarm for certain. The alarm woke at least one other guest but he didnt get out of bed! "

"We stayed here for 3 weeks after flying in from the US to visit family in the nearby area. We didn't want to be in a hotel for 3 weeks as we would find that claustrophobic. This was the ideal solution. The park staff were excellent and could communicate easily in English and German if needed. It is extremely quiet here with easy access to the excellent Netherlands freeways. The indoor pool and the swimming lake were loved by my visiting grandkids. "Very warm welcome feom the hotels reception staff member, nomlift bit its just a one floor then it should not be a problem, car park by the hotel is great, just mind that if you come out after 8 pm then ise your room key to open the main entrance,i was not told and luckily i guessed. The bed mattress are seriously old amd sogy but all very clean. A tip maybe an extension for coffee maker and kettle would make a bice touch as well as a swit h for the coil fan in the bathroom so a guest dos not...

"I did find the room, although clean, one of the most uncomfortable I have had. Pillow was horrible and the bedding not much better. Could really use a little modernisation but most of all, lose the pillows for better ones, horrible nights sleep."
