Good alternative to van der walk which is right across the road but 30% costlier Bastion has big comfortable rooms and spacious bathrooms. Food was good at the restaurant. "Great location in walking distance of many city attractions. Very helpful staff. The room was big and comfortable. Only downside was the shower, which is in the room. It had semi see through glass. If you're traveling with friends and you're not comfortable being exposed, it can be tricky. We managed by taking turns in the shower while the other person went to the lobby/hangout area. Otherwise the place was great. Clean, comfortable, and it has luggage storage before and after check in/ out. "

"The hotel’s location in the center of the town is excellent. The restaurant and bar area has a lovely ambience, but food is a little expensive. Our room was basicit was the cheapest, but it was clean and perfectly adequate. If we came again, we would bring a hairdryer the one that was there was virtually useless, and the plugs are on the opposite side from the bed so an extension lead would be useful if you want to have the phone charging by your bed. It was very anoying since we came late and they tried to solve the issue but still we could not shower until morning so my sleep was very bad.
