"We stayed here for one night to get some rest during our roadtrip. This hotel has thin walls. Didn’t get much sleep since we could hear the person next door snoring the whole night. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone scared of spiders. There were spider webs in the bedroom and in the bathroom. We also found spiders in our room. This was not an issue for us but still, just a heads up. The hotel could benefit from cleaning a bit more thorougly. On the positive side, parking was easy and...

"Munkebo is a lovely place. However we are both in our mid seventies and have slight mobility issues and were offered a room on the first floor and there was no elevator so we had to carry our heavy suitcases upstairs ourselves. The receptionist was not very responsive when I asked if only upstairs was available but continued to just walk upstairs. "Such a cute and peaceful property. When I booked I only saw pics of the room, so I was pleasantly surprised to see how lovely the courtyard was. The outside of the building looks original and well maintained, while the inside looks like a brand new hotel room. I appreciated the games provided including giant chess, ladder golf, table tennis, air hockey, and table football. Note that linens are not included but can be rented; and check in is from 15:00 to 17:00; so plan accordingly. "

"A really nice hotel except they rent most of it out for weddings & then you are stuck listening to loud & annoying music until 2 a.m. in the morning. We didn’t sleep at all & for the cost this luxury hotel I didn’t expect this. If you are going to allow weddings then either rent the whole hotel to the wedding or warn other guests! I would not have stayed here had I known. Very little by way of breakfast or dinner (no vegan options)."

"Just a 5-10 minute drive from the heart of the old town. Easy to access if coming from Odense station: 10 minute bus ride from the station, then a 5 min walk. If you like walking, it’s only a 30 minute walk from the train station. B&B unit is set up perfectly, and there is also access to their laundry. Would definitely re book if I’m in the area again. Area felt safe as a solo female area. "

"What an amazing little gem of a hotel right on the harbor in charming Bogense! The room was modern, bright, decently sized, and had access to a small balcony (shared with neighbor room) overlooking the harbor. It was well equipped with coffee and tea, mini bar, and snacks. Delicious breakfast was served in the hotel's little lobby/cafe - also overlooking the small boats and ships right outside the windows. Bathrobes available for those who dare winter bathing in the ocean!"

"This B&B is in a nice quiet area, but easily driveable to central Odense. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen for guest use was very convenient. The property is lovely. Our host was very kind and friendly, and the breakfast was amazing!"
