"Hotel Alder was amazing. The little details - like free water and sodas in the lobby, candies for the kids, restaurant on site, coffee maker in the room. Wonderful staff. Everything was easy and well thought of. Nice room for our family of 4 staying over for a few days before we went south. "

"I stayed here while visiting Zurich. It is in a convenient location near public transportation so going in and out of downtown was easy. The room was pretty standard for an Ibis. The bed was comfy and the general area was quiet."

"The location, if you are using the coach station for trips with Best of Switzerland or Grayline is excellent as it is just accross the road. Easy to walk to Zurich Old Town and the lake for boat trips, through the train staion and along Bahnhofstrasse. Clean hotel although a basic room it had everything I needed. Very comfortable. "

"I've stayed at Ibis hotels before, so seeing that they had one available in Zurich City Center for my trip to Switzerland was perfect. You got nice accommodations for a very reasonable price (and Switzerland isn't cheap). Loved the breakfast: it helped free up my funding for other things, but it was also very delicious. Definitely will be staying here again should I decide to come back to Zurich in the future."

Was ideally placed for an Event at the Zürich Halle, perhaps factored into the price as I'd say at that cost it could include the breakfast but in terms of location and position for travel links both to the Old and Town and airport its perfect.
