"I was quite often in Wilderness and looked at this wonderful hotel. Now I‘ve stayed here and I really enjoyed it. There is only one little - point. My bed in room no. 166 is a little bit too short for my length, but I slept really good. Friendly staff, good breakfast and a fair price = good value for the money"

"We were greeted very frostily by the owner and rushed up to our room because she wanted to go for a walk. She asked us why we hadn't replied to her urgent SMS sent 20 minutes ago. We said we were driving and hadn't seen it yet. We didn't see any more of her until se were just driving off. A white lady served us a mediocre breakfast. We had the feeling that we were a nuisance. "The hotel is in a great location with beautiful views. We were also very thankful for the lift to get our cases up to the room. A very warm welcome from Tom and lots of local knowledge of things to do and places to eat. Our room was rustic and fairly basic in furnishings and felt in need of an update plus some tlc. Our kitchen was very well equipped for any self catering needs including an air fryer! Overall our room was great value and Tom is great!"
