"Bedroom clean but tired furniture. Bit lacking as no tissues or water in the room. Shower was temperamental and there was no where to put shampoo or shower gel. The toilet roll holder had been badly fixed so that it sloped down and the toilet roll kept fallling off it. Tiny little shelf and no where to put toilet bags etc. The room we had was at the back up a steep set of metal stairs. "The hotel stay was much better than i was expecting. The room was smallish but everything i needed, it was clean and the bed and bedding really comfortable. The food in the dining room was fantastic! The prices reflected the standard of food well. The price of the wine might have been a bit over the top, but it was my fault for not checking the prices beforehand. "Good as always. Sadly a couple were arguing loudly into the small hours in next room which spoilt things slightly. Whilst threatening repeatedly to 'go home' with his dummy, rattle and toys, unfortunately he did not... "

"Lovely village pub/restaurant. Great service from front of house manager. Young man, very friendly and welcoming. Lovely evening meal, fair prices, fresh vegetables. Room clean, warm and cosy. Good shower and bathroom facilities. Outside, Iron stairs to room so just be aware. We would definitely stay again. "
