"A very loud fire alarm went off at 4am and went on for quite a while. I was already running on the stairs when it stopped. Goodbye sleep. The following morning I was expecting some apologies but no. When I mentioned it, the guy at the reception very cheerfully said "Oh, that. Yes, there was no fire, it was just a coffee machine. But so we know that the alarm works!" Which is Mecklenburg-Vorpommern idea of sense of humour, maybe."

"The hotel was hard to find and not staffed in the evening after 20. It felt a little odd to come to a closed hotel. Come before 20 in the evening"

"Loved the fact that you could walk down to the sea at the back of the hotel."

"Would expect to be more prepared for snow at this time of the year although it is not usual."

"For the price that we paid it should have been a five star. It Waqas more like a 3 star. The food in the restaurant was ok. Nothing to rave about. I alway head that staying in a castle was amazing well this was just ok. Kind Regards, Suzy"
