"Dead centre location very basic but very clean comfortable to a degree for the price no chairs tables hair dryer etc. just the basics, beds pretty much a mattes on a raised floor, modern lighting sockets & usb clean modern bathroom half the size of the bedroom a very nice shower too no windows which didn’t bother me! A tip bring a bottle of water with no windows aircon will make you thirsty!"

The hotel itself is a large conference style hotel. The service on the front desk was good and staff were helpful. The standard room was compact and a little tired but the bed and pillows were really comfortable. The breakfast is self service and is good with many options. It's a 2min walk to Paddington Station and I also found it easy to catch a black cab at the Hilton next to the station. Very quiet and safe area. I will always choose this over paying more to stay in the chaos of central London. St. David is not a good place for families and young children. Perfect for solo travelers, travelers with a friend (two twin beds were perfect for us) and for couples. "
