"Room service offered and was excellent and quick. They supplied bucket of ice for my husband who had knee surgery and needed to ice his knee. Over and above I would say. Food from restaurant was very nice. Hotel only supplies whole milk but when I asked the gentleman at breakfast went above and beyond to get me some semi skimmed which was excellent!! Bar prices are very reasonable. All in all a great stay at the Littleover Lodge! "

"Fantastic location. Refurbished bedroom was fabulous. Some areas of the property are a little tired but undergoing refreshments and so I am Sure will be lovely. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Most staff were friendly and helpful. A couple were brief and seemed liked they would rather be elsewhere, but nothing to put me off going again."

"We booked the George for a one night stay and it fulfilled all our expectations. The room was a good size and very well furnished (including very quirky wallpaper), the staff were uniformly friendly and efficient and the food (both evening meal and breakfast) was excellent. Highly recommended."

"Lovely hotel in a beautiful location with helpful and pleasant staff. Had an evening meal which was very good as was the breakfast. Only criticism was the size of the room which was compact and thin towels in need of replacing. Neither of which would prevent me from returning or recommending it to others."

"Lovely welcoming staff and a fresh refit gave the best of both between old and new. The food was lovely too, predominantly Indian based which my wife and I enjoyed immensely. Parking is also very good and had the unexpected surprise of air conditioning in our room. If my wife’s bedside lamp had a bulb, then this would have been a flawless visit. Would certainly choose again."

"Our squirrel room was amazing and the Gulliver theme park on your doorstep was great. It is like living inside a book story, my son so much loved his bunk bed he didn’t want to go home. We had a lovely time full of adventures. "

"Service was lovely, on top of what they are doing. Food was amazing and they are always making sure the customers are happy and if there is anything they can do to help the customers, was an absolute delight with my dog, he got lots of attention. The only con was that the rooms are dated and the furniture seems aged but with the new management hopefully this may change. Will definitely return. "
