The alarm in my room went off at 3.00am and I struggled to get back to sleep after because there was absolutely noone around to say whetyher or not it was a false alarm for certain. The alarm woke at least one other guest but he didnt get out of bed! "

"This location was perfect in the countryside and very peaceful. Loved the balcony and the room was comfortable with a nice occasional chair and desk. Bathroom and closet good too. The room was very clean and towels were replaced and the bed made daily but only bathroom garbage was removed, not the garbage in the room and it seemed that the promised cleaning after two nights did not take place so no cups cleaned or tea replaced. The breakfast was good with an offer of made to order eggs daily....

"Unbelievably beautiful place. Great location near the border, calm and clean with onsite free car park and good internet coverage in most rooms. Please be aware that in Netherlands many venders and service providers not set up to accept Visa cards. That is either debit or credit. So, be in a position of some cash. Although there are ATM machines available in nearby towns. Have a calm treat."

"I appreciated the late night check-in option, which worked very smoothly, despite the property officially claiming not to offer after-hours check in. The internet connection worked well, besides a few short interruptions, and was secured with a password, which is a plus these days when many hotels offer open, unsecured connections only. The room was in a good condition and offered the basic amenities needed for a shorter stay. The location is particularly suitable for visiting the university,...

"This is a campground and not a hotel. The kids (3 and 5) had fun in the little water park, but it was rundown and there was little there. It was not what is advertised. It is no frills and not like the pictures here. "

"Owner very friendly. I use a walking stick and the stairs were so steep and dangerous. I didn’t realise toilet was shared and would not have booked it if I realised it could be shared with 8 people. No shower, just a bath. Church next door and clanged every half hour through the night. At 7am it rang for ages. Breakfast very nice but dinner not brilliant. Had lamb chops, just 3 very not nice chops and not cheap. "
