"Would definitely stay here again! The hotel is new and in a prime location to shopping and dining. Our room overlooked one of the Christmas Markets, you stepped out the front door and you were there, yet in our room you couldn’t hear any outside noise! The bar and lounge area was excellent and well attended!"

"I used to live in the city years ago, and go back a few times a year to see old friends. Nice, newer hotel of the three located in this area, with good breakfast, nice drinks for apéro hour, good and prompt service. "

"Great location, very close to central station and tram stops. Really convenient for exploring the city and zoo, as well as further afield. The hotel is not staffed 24/7 but the adjacent hotel (which is part of the same group) is, and they can assist with check in/out, bookings and other queries. Everyone was really friendly. Not all of the hotel is accessible by lift so if this is needed, let the hotel know when booking. We would stay here again. "

"Great choice in the area to explore both sides of the border. It is much cheaper to stay in Germany than Switzerland. A ten minute walk to the Rheinfelden train station on the Swiss side where you can access all of Switzerland. Breakfast is very good, room is up to date and clean. Staff is friendly and attentive. Elevator is tiny! Several grocery stores nearby. Would like it better if the room to had a fridge. I've stayed here twice and would happily do so again."

"- right next to a tram spot - super clean rooms and nice bathroom - all staff we dealt with were wonderful - free mini bar! (One beer, two cokes, two waters) Only downfall was the room was SO hot! It was 0 degrees mostly when we were there but had to sleep with the door open as it was too hot / stuffy. Otherwise, I really recommend and thank all of the staff! :)"

"We stayed for 3 nights in December, the breakfast was good and never busy, staff checking us in wet friendly and polite and spoke multiple languages. The areas itself is ok, it's near a tram stop into the centre of Basel and within close enough proximity to local amenities such as the Co-op to stock up on some essentials for cooking. The apartment was a good size with hob, microwave and fridge / freezer included which was handy. A bit disappointed with the pool area, it could use a refresh to...
