"Second time staying and the staff were just a friendly as the first stay. Rooms are spotless and comfortable - bar area an added bonus and breakfast included in the stay you really cannot complain! We were greeted as we came out of the lift with Happy new year! Our new hotel for when we visit out relatives. "

"My girlfriend and I have stayed at the Holt Hotel a number of times before - we love the cosy ambience, friendly staff and very nice breakfast. The location is excellent being on the doorstep of several nice towns in the Costwolds, as well as Bicester Village and Blenheim Palace. This stay was no different (in a good way) in all of those respects. "Easy 20-30 mins walk into Oxford city. Parking fees covers from 3pm to 11am the next morning. Staff who helped us to check in was kind of rude. He was speaking too fast and when we asked for clarifications, his tone changed, as though we couldn’t understand English. We are from a first world English speaking country, just not UK. "

"Stayed one night, reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was generally fine and bed comfortable. However window (secondary glazing inside a very old window) meant all noise from street outside was easily heard and there was quite a bit. Also temperature control on radiator almost impossible to move. I'm not really complaining, just providing hopefully helpful feedback on a couple of things that would be relatively easy to improve"
