"We initially felt unsafe here . This was probably not a fair assessment- it was based on how we felt that day . We did leave the hotel to stay somewhere else as I was feeling anxious. "Beautiful property. We went on an afternoon game drive and a morning horse ride. The horse I rode was a well trained thoroughbred with spirit but restrain. I rode up to zebra, impala and wildebeest. One of the most enjoyable rides I’ve ever been on. There is a wide variety of game on the reserve and we were given an excellent tour by a very knowledgeable guide. "The pictures on the internet and the pictures of the actual venue does not correspond. When we arrived we were taken to a container. When I questioned it the assistant told me that was what I booked. I then showed him the pictures and insisted that I speak to the owner. I called the owner who in return was non accommodating, even after I sent him the pictures. I contacted Hotels.com which sorted out the matter for me. This took me the whole part of 1 hour. "

"Loved the apartment, especially the sun lounge area with huge sliding doors that open out to the sea. Comfortable beds. There is no air conditioning so it could use a fan or two in the apartment for comfort. Shower head had great water pressure. Property owners extremely kind and quick to respond to questions/needs. Felt very safe and secure. Great location, water park, food, shopping, beaches etc. Would definitely return to this place again. "

"We were thoroughly thrilled with Ilita Lodge! Perched high up on a hill, Ilita Lodge delivers splendid views of the ocean & the Great Brak River,, wonderful comfort, security & fabulous food! The only disappointment is that the GPS takes you on a very long un paved road to reach your destination, so go the other route! Otherwise we would definitely rebook there again! Friendly & helpful staff only make this lodge even more comfortable…"

"We liked everything! The bed was super comfortable and we are quite fussy when it come to beds. The rooms were clean and towels were changed everything. The best was the friendly staff - you were amazing! Do not miss the buffet - it's to die for. The aromas and taste was mouthwatering - we skipped the restaurants and sticked to the hotels awesome buffet. It's healthy and yummy. Don't skip the free breakfast either. These are not the quick breakfast you get at some ohter hotels, but a proper one. The wifi was handy and we had no problems with that. A Big THANK YOU to each and every person (from reception to the staff at the dining room, the chef and the friendly ladies changing our towels and sheets) for making our stay a memorable one. "
