"This is a charming converted chateau. close to Saint-Omer and the A26, and not far from Calais and the Channel Tunnel. The property is in a very quiet rural location, with ample parking. Staff were most helpful and the rooms have character. The restaurant is not open on Sundays but delicious snacks are available from the bar. Recommended"

Initially I parked on street using the English language enabled parking meter and card payment. I then used the hotel car park, which was quite expensive, for our two day stay. "Lovely hotel, very helpful staff, I asked for a couple of extra items and they were so accommodating. Beautiful old building but now done to the highest standards. Fabulous breakfast too. Bed very comfortable and bathroom very clean. This was my second visit. I hope to go there again soon. "

"Very poor, booked on the basis of 8 out of 10 rating but honestly not sure who posted these reviews. Booked a second night for the following week ( non refundable) and couldn't bring myself to return so booked a different hotel meaning more than double the cost. No water in the shower, no food and damp bedding. Service was poor and I was made to feel unwelcome. Stayed at the Ibis budget and felt like a rock star compared to this place. Avoid like the plague."

"It was not verybeasy to find at first and we were unsure about the parking. However once we arrived and were reassured that road side parking was free, we felt more relaxed. The staff were very friendly, and we managed to communicate in broken English. The rooms are spacious only downside was the free internet which did not connect very well. BreKfast was good, selection of various continental foods. We would definitely stay again (perfect for just one night)"
