I go down from the Gold Coast to visit my dad in aged care, so i just need a clean bed, nice shower, and facilities to make a cuppa and toast, so it ticks all the boxes for me."

"The motel was suitable for one night stopover - breakfast was included although dining room didn't open until 8.00am so if needing an early departure breakfast would not be possible (not necessarily a big deal and fortunate that I didn't need to leave till after 8.00am to get to next destination). "Convenient place to stay, clean and quiet "

"Great property _ true to era. Good detail and well presented. Great blend of old and new. Young vibrant bar staff. Gorgeous vine canopied outside area romantically lit with fairy lights. Big verandahs, seating well placed and not overcrowded. Free breakfast, cooked by the publican and served outside on the verandah for us - what a delightful and unexpected conclusion to a very comfortable stay "

"It's a roadside motel. But the rooms are mostly set back, and quiet for sleeping. Breakfast available for a fee, but we chose to drive 5min to a restaurant for better selection and pricing. A good affordable place to sleep (important!), but not much else."
